I have been translating and interpreting from Russian or Polish to English since 1965 during my attendance at McGill, also 1965 I was added to a roster of interpreters at Palais de Justice de Montreal    In 1970 I was accredited as a freelance Russian-English translator by the Translation Bureau, Department of the Secretary of State, Canada.   In 1971 I translated a science fiction book from Russian to English  for the Israel Program for Scientific Translations  in Jerusalem.  After moving to Toronto in 1977 I started working for Immigration Canada ( later became IRB).   In 1989 I was accredited by The Ministry of Attorney General as a court interpreter in Russian and Polish and have been working as such ever since. Also in 1989 I passed an aural test for the Multilingual Services Section Solicitor General Canada and have been freelancing for them. From 1990-1992 as the Executive Secretary of the Canada-USSR Business Council.   From 1993-2003 I worked for The RCMP, Toronto Metropolitan Police and The Ontario Provincial police as a Linguistic Specialist.  References to all of the above can be provided upon request.
