Members of CIAO are …

Professional freelance interpreters and translators who provide services to MAG and other public and private organizations.

No Contracts between CIAO and its members.

CIAO does not contract with its individual Interpreters/Translators or other potential clients in order to provide Interpreter/Translator freelance services. Clients who require individual Interpreters / Translators services from our members are free to approach these individual members and contact and engage in a contract for services with these members on a freelance and individual basis.

Contract/Agreement fees are defined by each member for their services.

The fees, terms or conditions of the freelance contract or agreement are outside the scope and concern of CIAO, and the said Association will not be involved in any dispute or challenge arising out of a freelance relationship.

We however do recommend that a minimum of $70 an hour be considered as fee for our members for a two or three hour booking. Higher fees or packages are expected with work that requires more complex skills and experience.
